MARINA CONSTRUCTION/TRIP UPDATE

WE ARE CURRENTLY RUNNING TRIPS ON A LIMITED SCHEDULE. THE MARINA REBUILDING PROJECT IS IN FULL SWING. ALTHOUGH WE ARE EXPERIENCING SOME INCONVENIENCES, THE FINISHED PROJECT WILL BE LONG OVERDUE. WE WILL HAVE NEW DOCKS, BOARDWALK AND TICKET OFFICES. THE CONSTRUCTION IS ENTERING PHASE 2, WHICH IS THE EAST END OF THE MARINA(OUR END). THEY WILL BE MOVING OUR BOATS TO A TEMPORARY SLIP AT THE END OF THE NEW FLOATING DOCKS. OUR TICKET OFFICE WILL BE TEMPORARILY MOVED FURTHER TO THE WEST, CLOSE TO ROUNDABOUT PIZZA. OUR TICKET OFFICE IS NOT STAFFED AT THIS TIME(EXCEPT FOR CHECK IN TIMES) PHONE IS BEING  ANSWERED REMOTELY.THE INTERIM SCHEDULE IS AS FOLLOWS UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE:

ALL DAY TRIP (9AM-5PM) THURSDAY - SUNDAY

HALF DAY TRIPS (8AM-NOON AND 1PM-5PM) THURSDAY - SUNDAY

F.Y.I. WE HAVE IMPLEMENTED A PRICE INCREASE ON OUR 4 AND 8 HOUR TRIPS. PLEASE CHECK "RATES" PAGE ON SITE FOR NEW PRICING. ANY TICKETS SOLD IN ADVANCE WILL BE SUBJECT TO THE DIFFERENCE OF INCREASE. SORRY FOR ANY INCONVENIENCE.

RESERVATIONS ARE RECOMMENDED FOR ALL TRIPS. WE DO HAVE SEVERAL "PRIVATE GROUP" CHARTERS ON THE SCHEDULE, SO CALL AHEAD TO BE SURE YOUR DESIRED TRIP/ DATE IS AVAILABLE. WITH THE "PHASE 2" CONSTRUCTION ABOUT TO BEGIN ON THE EAST END OF MARINA, THEY HAVE FENCED OFF TWO ADDITIONAL ROWS OF PARKING FOR A CONSTRUCTION ZONE. THIS PUTS THE PARKING ISSUES IN OUR MARINA FRONT AND CENTER, ESPECIALLY FOR AFTERNOON FISHING TRIPS. TRIPS DEPARTING IN THE MORNING ARE HIGHLY RECOMMENDED AS WE COME INTO OUR SPRING SEASON. AFTERNOON PATRONS PLEASE ALLOW AMPLE TIME TO DEAL WITH TRAFFIC AND PARKING. **PLEASE BE AWARE** PATRONS FOR AFTERNOON TRIPS MAY BE REQUIRED TO PARK "OFFSITE" AT PARKING GARAGES DUE TO LACK OF SPACES IN MARINA LOT.

FOR A FASTER CHECK IN EXPERIENCE, PLEASE PURCHASE TICKETS ONLINE OR BY PHONE IN ADVANCE.  IF YOU CHOOSE TO PAY AT THE MARINA, PLEASE BRING CASH. WE CAN ACCEPT CREDIT CARD, BUT TRANSACTION WILL BE PROCESSED REMOTELY.

THE 8 HOUR TRIPS HAVE BEEN CATCHING SOME MANGROVE SNAPPER AND HOGFISH (BRINGING SHRIMP LIVE OR FROZEN INCREASES CHANCE OF CATCHING THESE). CATCHING RED GROUPER OCCASSIONALY ON THIS TRIP. GAG GROUPER HAVE BEEN BITING, BUT CANNOT BE HARVESTED UNTIL SEPT. 1.
